Wimbledon will follow the US and Aussie Opens in implementing video review systems.
Replay systems will be launched at The Championships in the upcoming tournament.
Players will gain the ability to contest certain calls made by the official, following the system currently in use at each of the American Grand Slam and the Australian Open.
The new system will be accessible on Centre Court and Court One throughout the Championships and on the other four featured courts when they are staging singles matches.
This step arrives only a year after the All England Club rolled out ELC, which terminated the centuries-old tradition of line judges.
Players will not be permitted to dispute the accuracy of the ELC system, but they can ask for the umpire to re-examine other decisions, such as:
Importantly, there will be no limit on the amount of reviews a player can request.
An illustrative incident took place in a recent tournament recently, where a top player used the review system against Jack Draper.
Draper admitted it was a tough call for the umpire, but believed his rival had "used the regulations effectively."
The umpire watched a video and ruled Draper was responsible for hindrance, awarding the point to his opponent.
This technology aren't new for Grand Slams. It has been in use at the US Open for two years and the Aussie Open this year.
Additionally, it is increasingly prevalent on the WTA circuit, and by the coming year the ATP circuit will have video reviews implemented at every one of its events.
Another change at Wimbledon this year involves the introduction of visual indicators on displays to support the audio calls from the electronic line calling system.
This addresses instances where the crowd have occasionally been uncertain whether a shot was out or in.
Finally, with precisely a century of days remaining until the beginning of the Championships, the AELTC have further revealed an increase in daily attendance at the qualifying competition in the qualifying venue.
